The tech2 and CANDI module worked perfect to diagnose my bad HVAC air door actuator. I have an older HP laptop running win7 and it has a serial port so has no problem to install software. Time will tell how this works out.

The tech2 scanner clone has done everything I have used it for. I have check and cleared codes including freeze frame data. I used it to test injectors on my friends NOVA 5.3 swap. It allowed me to pulse each injector so we knew they were not clogged.

What should you pay attention when use USB WIFI for WIFI BMW ICOM:
1) Insert USB WIFI to your PC USB port first

2) Turn off the computer WIFI and other added WIFI. Your PC only can use our USB WIFI. Wired Ethernet port of your PC cannot connect internet and LAN cable for ICOM.
3) Make sure all above you have done, then start your PC.

We need device:

MB SD Connect C4 with DELL D630 HDD

DELL D630 PC

Here displays the SBC unit extend service live instruction:

In Developer Mode:

1. Make sure engine is running

2. Run DAS, find out and locate following:

Select Entwickelingsdaten – >hit F3

Select ansteueringen -> hit F3

Select Gesamstliste aller Ansteuerungen-> hit F3
to see how many times brake has been pressed. There is a option that says: Bremsenzahler (DJ_GetBrLive)

3. Then 1 line down there you see Bremsenzahler aktualisieren und Lebensdauerzahler F neu berechenen -> click the icon

Parameter uINBR = 0, hit F3

4. Scroll 1 line down Bremsenzahler auf beliebigen Wert setzen (DJ_SetNBr) -> click it
Parameter uINBR = 0, hit F3

5. Then scroll down until you see the option:

Lebensdauerzahler F neu berechenen (DJ_CalcLiveTime)
Parameter uINBR = 0, hit F3

Lebensdauerzahler F neu berechenen und schreiben (DJ_BuildAndWriteF)

6. Log out of SBC
7. Log out of vehicle

Let vehicle engine run at least 10 minutes or drive a 10 minutes at least road test.

If no coils are damaged, SBC fault code is not AKTUEL
