scn coding service:
Can be done online or offline

mercedes scn coding software:
You should have working XENTRY/DAS (crack ok).
For old Mercedes (-2009), you should have software version 12.2016 or earlier:
For new Mercedes (2009-2017), you should have software version 03.2017 or newer:

Which version for Mercedes OFFLINE SCN coding? And which for ONLINE coding?
For OFFLINE coding, you should have old versions before 12.2016.
For ONLINE coding, use new XENTRY/DAS after 03.2017

What should i have for SCN coding to my Mercedes?
Star diagnostic tool (sdconnect c4 better, a HQ clone also ok)
XENTRY/DAS (original, or crack version have been tested!!)
Working laptop
Account of Scn coding service

What models (and the year) for SCN coding?
You can have NEW Mercedes for ONLINE coding, while pre-2009 models for OFFLINE coding.
Online & offline coding can be done with different server data. Online scn coding uses data from the Mercedes dealer; it’s original.

I have a 2017 model. Can i have it do offline coding?
No. 2017 new models can be worked though offline coding, with post-2017.3 Xentry/DAS.

When should i have SCN coding?
1. Check engine light on
2. Transmission gets stuck in 1 gear. If your have trouble with transmission, there is a good chance that the problem is with you ME control unit and that SCN coding is needed to resolve the issue.
3. Turn the engine and it on again

Can you give me a coding account? Or where to buy?
For OFFLINE scn coding, it’s xentry offline scn coding activation service

For ONLINE scn coding, you should buy online service (if you have an online account, it’s ok also.):
1.Place an order on the online coding service.
2.Contact our online customer service to process this online coding.
3.Prepare MB STAR C3/SDConnect C4, car, laptop and teamviewer.
4. Select the car model and programming system (eg, headlight XALWA-L)
5.Select CONTROL unit adaptations
6.Choose offline program (CONTROL MODULE PROGRAMMING) then (SCN coding)
7.Provide us your teamviewer User ID and password.
8.Login server (DALMLER)
9.Login server and finish SCN coding automatically

MB Star C3 V2015.9 up Multiplexer Initialization Failed Solution

Here is the Obd2tool.com engineer solution to Mb Star C3 V2015.9 up DAS Xentry multiplexer initialization failed problem.

Error message:

Initialization of diagnosis multiplexer failed.

26-1
Possible causes:

The link between the diagnosis multiplexer and the diagnostic socket is interrupted.

The link between the diagnostic multiplexer and the diagnostic unit is interrupted.

The voltage supply at the diagnostic socket (circuit 30 and (or) circuit 31) is faulty.

Note:

When using SDconnect, check the connection status using the Toolkit.

Solution:

1. First check if you use the correct software for Star C3 not SD Connect C4, you do not modify software by yourself and it passes self-test.

If all these are okay, replace the Config file in c:\program\mecredes-benz\config

MB Star Diagnosis Coding Out ABC on Mercedes R230 Cars

MB STAR Diagnostic Tools software can code out ABC, here is the example on code out Mercedes SL65.
NOTE : the instruction here only for R230s (not any W215, W216, W220, W221)

To do this, you need a MB Star diagnostic SD Connect C4 with Developer mode. Hook up SD Connect diagnostic system to your car and when it reads your car, select Control Units, pick Information and Communication and you will see ICM :

How to install SD Connect C4 WiFi on Windows 10

Have good success with MB SD Connect C4 windows 10.

I’m running Win10 on a Dell XPS15 9550 laptop with Intel AC 8260 internal wireless card installed.

After days of investigation and testing, the most important thing to understand is this. The drivers for your wireless card MUST support AdHoc functionality. The Benz diagnostic tools are the secret sauce that makes this possible. This can be verified at the DOS command prompt. The command is: netsh wlan show drivers
This command will show “Yes” or “No” on the line for “Hosted Network Support”.
If this line says “No”, AdHoc will not work properly.

Although I’m running Win10, Intel has drivers for the 8260 wireless card for Win8 which will enable proper AdHoc functionally.

The trick is to download the driver first, prior to removing your existing wireless driver. Download the driver ONLY, not any driver file with additional driver management apps included in the downloaded file.

Now you can go into Device Manager and remove your existing wireless card AND check the box that removes all software associated with it. My Win8 driver download file was a .exe file. I double clicked on it and the Win8 driver for my Intel 8260 card was installed. Went to Device Manager, right clicked on my 8260 wireless card and selected Properties. Clicked on Advanced and was able to see several AdHoc related entries. These AdHoc entries were not visible using the Win10 drivers.

AdHoc can now be verified at the DOS command prompt. The command is:
netsh wlan show drivers
This command will show “Yes” on the line for “Hosted Network Support”.
If this line says “No”, AdHoc will not work properly

With AdHoc functionality confirmed, additional DOS commands can now be used to enable Road24h wireless connectivity. The procedures for the additional steps required are well documented in OBD2TOOL or GOOGLE.

This is what worked for me. Depending on your computer skills, your results may vary.

If you find my posting to be of help to you, Thanks and Rep would be most appreciated.

Happy motoring !
