How To Solve Autel Scanner “Network Busy” Issue

Problem

I am always having a trouble to connect my Autel MaxiIM IM608 Pro diagnostic scanner to Autel update server. It says: “Network busy(#1). Please try again later”, the error message is as below:

What is the matter? Please help me!

Solution

The reason why “Network busy” error happened is because the network environment can’t access Autel server. It is not allowed to access Autel server due to DNS domain IP address.

To solve the problem, you should:

1. Go to “System setting”on Autel scanner.

2. Long press the connected network, click “Modify network”.

3. Check if it was selected the “Show advanced option”, select it to “Static”.

4. Change the IP address to 8:8:8:8 which is Google server by default. Then click “Save”.

Network problem was solved! Autel IM608 Pro Scan Tool can connect to Autel server normally now! Update and download function come back to be normal.

This solution is applied to most Autel OBD2 scanners such as Autel MaxiIM IM508 and Autel MaxiIM IM608.
