Connections:

Connect the J-box to the PC. An icon should appear in the PC’s system tray.
Connect the J-box to the vehicle.
Open the GM / AC Delco software.

Java:

Verify you are using the same version of Java as required by GM / AC Delco.
If the Java version on your PC is newer than the one required by GM / AC Delco, you will have to ‘rollback’ to the version required.
If the Java version on your PC is older than the one required by GM / AC Delco, you will have to update to the version required.
After making these changes you may want to change Java’s default settings to DISABLE automatic updates.

But I see some people got problems with WIN 10 …

I installed Forscan on my PC running WIN 10…and yes there is a Problem with actuating the extended license…

This is what I did…

Download the extended license…make a new folder and name it License. Put the extended license .key file in to that folder.

Go to Windows (C:) and find the FORScan Folder… Mine was in Program Files (x86)

Paste the ” License Folder ” in to FORscan…

Or: Right click on ForScan shortcut, Properties, Open File location…put License Folder in there.

The car has a tire pressure monitoring system (Autel TPMS Sensors) and 5 sensors (4 wheels + spare).
